2012 Brampton Cup
This year Beaver Boxing sent a small team of fighters (Andrew Nunez and Kaitlyn Clark) to the Brampton Cup (Ontario’s largest novice development tournament) and to no surprise, the team did not disappoint.
Kaitlyn Clark won the 69kg Female Senior Novice Brampton Cup Championship by unanimous decision over Vanessa Euell of Clancy’s Boxing. Kaitlyn used her ring experience to her advantage as she controlled the pace of the fight from start to finish. Kaitlyn also won Best Senior Female Boxer of the tournament.
Andrew Nunez won the 64kg Senior Sub-Novice Brampton Cup Championship by split decision over Matthew Burden of Bluewater Boxing Club. Andrew gave it his all and the results did not disappoint. He pushed his opponent from start to finish, in what was a very intense fight.
